To arrest the labor union members who were on strike apposing privatization of railways, the police forcibly entered The Kyunghyang Newspaper’s building, where the office of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions is. The Union members and the police are violently confronting at the building, currently. Citizens protesting against the police force are coming out to the streets around the building. The apposition party members urged to stop the forcible entry insisting that it’s ‘labor repression’ and ‘crisis of democracy’ through the press conference on the street. The members of the apposition party who attempted to enter the building and meet the union leaders after the conference, were blocked by the police. The labor union members, citizens, and the opposition party members are confronting against the police, now.
