More Towns North of Nuevo Albergis

On the unnamed river north of Nuevo Albergis there are several town ruins visible .
The river is now almost dry , and the towns ruins are empty . No people live there now .
But at one time there was a Large population in this part of the country , some may have worked at the Salt Works .
But all this came to a halt when the Atacama Desert formed , maybe 10 000 years ago.
One day some institute will research this whole place.
By now the whole site , including the new town ruins, is about 25 miles square and so is major Archaeological Find.
