    Midwest Ice Storm 12.22.13

We all knew it was coming and when we woke up this morning everything was frozen and thousands of people were without power.

Winter in Michigan is always rough, everyone is used to the snow, but with ice it really does shut down everything. It’s been years since I can remember an ice storm this bad. As I drove around my hometown of East Lansing, I saw dozens of trees in the street, on houses and plenty of down power lines.

As the day goes on the roads are getting relatively clear and people are out and about, doing their last minute shopping.
