This performance was held on 22th, 23th and 24tth, March in Toda City Cultural Center, Saitama Prefecture. There were a lot of people involved with this performance. First, about 400 dancers who are students joined and had practiced for 2months to make a performance . Second, over 3500 people came to see this performance. Third, there are a lot of choreographers, because there are many kinds of genres, for example, pop, lock, break, hip hop, jazz, house, punkin, girlz, r&b and so on. Many people who can use technical equipments like stage lighting, sound design and so on. That's why this performance is said one of the biggest dance performances in Japan to people.
My genre is poppin. It is based on the technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a jerk in the dancer's body. People said poppin is one of the most difficult genres. I started dance after I entered this university, so to acquire the skills was very hard for me, but my dance skills had changed dramatically because choreographers are really good at dancing, so I can learn a lot of things from them. And the surroundings was very good to be better dancer, for example, there were a lot of dance studios to practice, it opens from 9:00 a.m to 22:00 p.m. I practiced open to close almost everyday. And there were many dancers, so it made me raise my motivation. About 40 people joined this genre, it's a huge number, but I could get good formation in most parts. It was really great for me.
This public performance changed my dance life dramatically.
