    Main Street Cooperstown NY Lockdown


    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Nightfall says he noticed an emergency vehicle blocking the street outside of his building on Main Street in Cooperstown. 'I went downstairs, out my front door, and was asked immediately to move behind a police line. They explained there was a person with a gun.' Gun shots were reported from inside the 7th Inning Stretch store, a few doors away from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, according to local news reports.

    Main Street of Cooperstown, New York, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame, has been cleared of pedestrians because of an alleged gunman. The armed suspect is currently believed to be holed up at 'The Seventh Inning Stretch' store at 137 Main.
