    And So It Is Christmas

...the  day Christians stop and remember the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of  God given to the world that all might have eternal life.

This is the day that is set aside to embrace peace, love, joy and goodwill toward one another.

While some make it about giving and receiving gifts, it is more about expressing our love toward one another.

From  Iohn and I as well as our babies, Frankie and Gizmo, we would offer to  one and all a wish for a Merry Christmas filled with peace, joy and love  as you gather with family, friends or spend the day with your own  company.

When the night is the darkest always look up and find that bright star that will lead you back to the light of day.

For  this Christmas Day, instead of delving into my mind, let us put all  aside and think only of angels and sleigh bells, of shepherds watching  their flocks and of a baby born in a manger.

There  is enough sadness and concerns in the world which will keep for another  day. But for this day, let us try and bask in the light of the star  seen from afar in the East which led to the little town of Bethlehem.

From the Cornfield and Mark's Den, Merry Christmas everyone!

Whether you are a believer in the Christian faith or not, may you be showered with peace, goodwill, joy and love on this day.
