Yesterday (December 23rd 2013) and today (Christmas Eve 2013) the United Kingdom has been affected by a winter storm that has been compared to a storm in 1886 (when a record low pressure reading of 926 mb was recorded in Perthshire, Scotland). This storm had led to the deaths of four people and left people travelling to relatives for Christmas stranded in railways stations across the country. Although Ceredigion escaped the worst as you can see from these videos, we are still getting gale force gusts and a very choppy sea
