    Christmas Symbols Festivals

Tangub City, also known as the "Christmas Symbols Capital," is celebrating the annual Christmas Symbols Festival. The theme of this year's festival is “Christmas Around the World,” which showcases the famous different famous world landmarks.

The event will also attract local and foreign tourists as the event will feature 17 replicas of famous tourist landmarks around the world. What's more, all the materials used in building the structures were from used plastic bottles, CDs, coconut husks and other recycled materials. Hence, the festival reflects the Tangubanons' ingenuity, creativeness and resourcefulness.

The city came up with the following famous landmarks: Saint Basil’s Cathedral (Pokrovsky Cathedral) in Moscow, Russia, The Chain Bridge of Hungary, Bell and Belfry of Friendship in Korea, Enger Tower of Norway,  Dragon Landmark in Vietnam, Baobab (Kersfees Tree) of South Africa, Biblical Museum in USA and Traffic Circle at Heart in Afghanistan.
