    Chrystal Christmas 2013 done

The images are based on fotos of the thin ice of very shallow puddles in a 50' stretch of snowbound old gravel logging road at 6000', south of Tahoe, right after the bright crack of a February dawn. First real test of my nouveau 4x4 high clearance buggy.

I have absolutely no idea how or why these puddles put on such intricate varigated mindblowing skins. Maybe it's like Calvin and Hobbes. Maybe a UFO landed. Maybe for the Zen of it , tho way too fancy.

The soundtrack is from the studio of John Rynd. I reconnected with John after 37 years, at a wonderful Labor Day weekend reunion with a dozen or so college pals
