Is Target taking my problem seriously?

I emailed Target on their website regarding a purchase I made using my debit card on 30NOV2013 and got this response:

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Target. We are aware of the unauthorized access to certain payment card data that may have impacted guests making credit and debit card purchases in our U.S. Stores between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15, 2013.

There is no immediate need to cancel REDCards or any other credit or debit cards; however, for guests who used their cards at U.S Target stores during the impacted period, we ask that you remain vigilant and monitor activity on your cards. If you see something that appears fraudulent, REDcard holders should contact Target at 1-888-755-5856; others should contact their bank by calling the number on the back of the card.

For any future Target purchases, we have identified and resolved the issue of unauthorized access to payment card data, so guests can shop with confidence at both our stores and Target.com.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We take this matter very seriously and are working closely with law enforcement and a leading third-party forensics firm to conduct a thorough investigation of the incident.

    Thank you
