While I supported the legalization of pot in Colorado, I do not wish that my children, my wife nor I to smoke marijuana except for health reasons. While I do not consider pot an extremely dangerous drug, I learned years ago from smoking pot that one loses initiative and attention. One reason I supported the law is because companies and government agencies can still test for marijuana use to ensure a drug free work place. I would not want to fly in a commercial jet with a high pilot, be pulled over by a high cop with a gun, or be operated on by a high doctor. So I support legalizing marijuana as a nation as long as companies and government agencies can test to provide a drug free work place. The drug war has not worked and all we have done is created billionaire drug lords and put people in jail and/or fined them extortion rates for what I deem is a social issue. If you want a good job don't smoke pot.
