    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Twenty-year-old carcar1 says she loves pot. The university student in Allentown, Pennsylvania, works as a student worker and dispatcher at her school and smokes once a day before bed. "I have extreme anxiety and am on an antidepressant anxiety pill, but that does not help my sleeping. I went to two sleeping disorder doctors and they absolutely did not help. When I did not smoke to sleep, I would have anxiety attacks and get so worked up because I could not sleep. I would scream and yell at my parents because I just did not know what to do," she said.

    She can't understand why other states are not going towards legalization. "I think there are so many benefits that come from weed and many people have no idea what they are missing out on," she said.

    I smoke every night before I go to bed, it is the only thing other than high doses of antidepressant/ anxiety pills that helps me sleep. I have had trouble sleeping ever since I was a child and marijuana is miracle worker. It does not make me lazy because I normally only smoke at night before bed and in between the night. I also smoke before I go to the gym because it puts me in the zone. I am perfectly capable of doing other activities while "high". I have talked to my therapist about my usage and she agrees that it is very effective for my sleeping disorder. It DEFINITELY does not affect my grades, this semester I got straight A's and I am also on the Dean's List. I work at our university police station. I am a junior in college and I do not look like the average "stoner".
