    Retail Pot: Who Wouldn't Buy?

I would certainly buy marijuana from a legal source if I had that option. I live in a state that doesn't recognize medical marijuana, let alone recreational use. Other than smoking with friends, I often smoke to help sleep at night. When I don't have weed I constantly toss and turn all night, but when I do smoke I hardly ever have a restless night.

Unfortunately, a lot of people believe that pot heads are lazy, dangerous criminals who lie, cheat, and steal to get a fix. And they couldn't be more wrong.

My parents and I are well known in my community and people would never know I smoke weed if I weren't so open about it. I've worked for the federal government and my local school district to help educate children in my area. I volunteer hundreds of hours a year (I was even recognized by the government with the Presidential Service Award) and I take on a lot of responsibility within the groups I am in.

I definitely consider myself a pot head, but cannabis doesn't make me sound stupid or delay my ability to think and function in society. I don't sit on my couch eating Cheetos and watching movies like "Pineapple Express" every day (although it is WAY funnier when you're high).

Honestly, it comes down to one thing. I work hard, I play hard. I'll do whatever needs to be done to support myself and my vices without interfering with anyone else's life, so don't tell me how I should relax or enjoy myself in the privacy of my own home.

    It's that simple.
