    Ship Aground St Lawrence River

Tugs try to free a Croatian ship which went aground on Christmas Eve on the St Lawrence Seaway near the Tibbets Point lighthouse where the St Lawrence river meets Lake Ontario! These photos were take at approx 4PM, Dec 29th. The urgency is the Seaway officially closes tomorrow, December 30th. Where will this ship spend the winter, and how much will this mishap cost the owners? The ship was heading for Montreal with 20 metric tons of wheat, a quantity of which had to be unloaded to try to free the ship. From my uninformed vantage point, the ship appears to be out of the shipping channel.
