    Flood Hits Sarawak

    The non stop rain in Sarawak, Malaysia has cause Four Administrative Divisions in Sarawak to be flooded this afternoon between 12:00 noon and 6:00 pm on 29th December 2013.

    The State Disaster Committee confirms the occurrence of the flood in the Divisions of Miri, Bintulu, Betong and Sri Aman which saw water level rising to 0.5 metres level.

    A few families have been moved to the Evacuation Centre managed by State Government Agencies. Photos from twitters and Instagrams and Facebook are attached. The flood was briefly reported by local media at:

    Most of the people are worried if the rain does not stop the King Tide which is expected to be on 30-31 December 2013 may worsen the flood situation.
