    IMPACT at Kwanzaa

This Saturday, December 28, 2013, Harlem's Oscar nominated youth ensemble Impact Repertory Theatre was the highlight performance at the American Museum of Natural History's 35th annual Kwanzaa celebration.

The celebration took place on the third day of Kwanzaa, Ujima, which means collective work and responsibility, demonstrated by the performances.

Backstage, I spoke with members of IMPACT on how they got involved with the group and what they liked most about Kwanzaa.

Kwanzaa 2013 began on Thursday, December 26 and ends on Wednesday, January 1.
