This iReport is part of an assignment:
    Does marijuana help you?

    cautious, Christian and sick

I have never used pot or any other illegal drug. It's against my principles, my lifestyle, and as a Christian, it's just something I do not do.
I also am a chronic pain patient, due to a combination of a birth defect, a bad back surgery and arthritis in my spinal cord. As if that wasn't enough, I also have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and a severe case of Fibromyalgia. I am unable to take NSAIDs (such as naproxen and ibuprofen), which leaves me with narcotics and muscle relaxers.
Did I mention I hate this?
Thus I have watched the reports on medical marijuana with much interest. Imagine, someday this could be something I could grow at home, legally, for my own pain issues!
So, I'm watching with interest, to see if this is a possibility for me, someday, when it's legal.
