    Does marijuana help you?

    Regular User, Professionally Self Employed

Here is a little bit about me. I am a high school and college graduate, both with honors. After only six months of graduating college, I quit my $12.76/hour banking job to work for my own company full-time. My company is more profitable than my banking job. I became a daily user after quitting my bank job. -Just a little something to show that it doesn't fry your brain.

I started smoking in my teens, as most people. I stopped for a couple of years while I focused on school but got back into it when I had more time. I have never had any bad side effects from it. I have experimented with different types of smoking herbs (ex. Kush, Spice, Hash, Reg/Good). There are health issues with altered herbs so I stick with the basic stuff. Just a personal choice.

As for my smoking life, I use pot/weed daily. I not only use it daily for multiple times in the day. I don't suggest it for everyone, I am self employed and only work part time. I have always had issues with anxiety problems and pain attacks, smoking helps me stay calm and keep my body at ease. I, of course, also like that it makes the daytime TV shows a little more entertaining.

I support legalizing marijuana medically. I just think it is common sense. Although I smoke, I am not really 100% on recreational use. I am very responsible with my smoking but I know not everyone is. If the proper laws are set in place (I personally think it should be treated just like alcohol) then I am 100% for it. It makes a lot more sense in the drug war department as well.

Overall, I think we need to worry about drugs that really do serious harm to you. We should also target cigarettes and alcohol as the gateway drug instead of pot. I have never met someone who has smoked weed that has not smoked a cigarette or drank a beer. Educating the public will seriously help.
