This iReport is part of an assignment:
    Does marijuana help you?

Yes, I would buy retail pot. I have smoked marijuana for about 35 years, have held down a full time job, raised a family, sent my children to college. It should have never become illegal. I can't/don't drink alcohol. It infuriates me when I see people worrying about kids getting it. I can tell you I would rather have my kids smoking than drinking alcohol. I do not agree with kids doing it, but with it legal it should be harder for them to get. Kids get alcohol all the time and that is so much more deadly. Lets face it, it probably will not be legal until the drug companies patent it and Monsanto owns the seed, so they can mess it up. I am so sick of people kind of chuckling when they speak of pot, and then they go out and have their cocktails. America wake up, if anything should be illegal, it should be alcohol. I am the farthest thing from an outlaw there is, yet I am doing something that could put me in jail, take away my happy home, while drunks are killing people on the road everyday.
