My husband and I love long drives through windy, tree-lined roads during the fall time. So, it was an easy decision for us to wake up and head towards Warwick, NY, one October Sunday morning. The best part is that the local winery, Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery, were having an apple cider festival! So, after a nice fall afternoon at the winery we headed back, and within minutes the sun started to set in the most magical way. I snapped this shot in such a hurry (lines of cars were behind us) that I couldn’t believe my luck in what I found later that night when going through my pictures. It was the very “thing” that we search for when we take our little trips, the quintessential moment of fall. When I think of fall and the beauty behind it, I think of this picture. A lovely/lucky drive-by, with no editing needed.
