    Pasadena Preps for the Roses

The city of Pasadena, CA is home to the famous Rose Parade. This year marks the 125th Anniversary of the parade and the theme is "Dreams Come True." Over 1 million people are expected to line the 5+ mile parade route, many of whom secure a viewing spot by camping out along the parade route on New Year's Eve. Despite the cold temperatures overnight, the spectators bring blankets, air mattresses, food, water and other supplies to make their night as comfortable as possible (tents are not allowed). The parade begins promptly at 8am Pacific time and the forecast is for a beautiful day of California sunshine!
