Every December 31, the President of the Italian Republic gives a speech to the nation. The summary of the past year and intentions for the coming year. This year, President Giorgio Napolitano, in his second term as President, held the eighth discourse. A speech strongly characterized by the desire to see the reforms started to change the political institutions of the Italian State. But, as every year, the President's speech will be forgotten after a few days. It is the hypocrisy of Italian politics.
