    Talking to teens: Driving

    Dead Driving

My daughter isn't a teenager yet; however, when I was learning how to drive my mother took me to our local cemeteries to get the hang of it. Her rationale: I couldn't kill anyone. As my skills improved we visited those with more difficult roads and turns...usually while my younger sister hid behind a gravestone because my driving was so scary! This odd tradition began with my grandfather (her dad) and I will be continuing it!
