    Does marijuana help you?

    Proud PotHead!

I've smoked weed on a daily basis for the past 6 years, and I couldn't be happier that people are starting to realize the benefits for marijuana. I started smoking pot due to an eating disorder, depression, anxiety, and chronic migraines. My mom was murdered when I was 18, and for almost a year I was in the lowest point of my life. I had went from 215 lbs, to 127 lbs within 3-4 months. I could not force myself to eat. I also had panic attacks on a daily basis, and crying spells due to depression. Ever since I made the decision to start smoking pot, my life has changed for the better. I am finally able to eat full meals again, where a few years ago..I would be lucky to eat half of a meal every few days. I went from having 16-20 chronic migraines a month ( to the point of losing my vision) to MAYBE 2 a month. I went from barely speaking to my friends and family due to depression, to being full of life again. Weed has amazingly changed my life. I won't go one day without smoking, and have no shame in admitting it to anyone. I would much rather ingest something that is natural with hardly any negative side affects, than some medication with hundreds of unknown affects and chemicals. It has so many more benefits for people other than just creating tax revenue. A lot of people who are against the legalization of regulated marijuana, are believing nothing but a bunch of lies formed by the government, and other people against the legalization. It is not worse than cigarettes, its been proved to heal some forms of cancer! Children with epilepsy go from having 100-150 seizures a WEEK, have went to having one (if that) convulsion per week. Everyone remembers what happened during the alcohol prohibition...and what happened after it was over? Millions upon millions of tax dollars, and less alcoholism and criminal offenses for alcohol. Which honestly if you ask me, alcohol should be outlawed way before weed. I've NEVER been around someone who had just smoked a joint then went on a violent rampage. It does exactly the opposite. You normally either forget what you were mad about, or it doesn't even matter to you anymore. People need to stop being ignorant and hard headed because of what someone told them, and face the truth that marijuana is not a drug...its a miracle worker and its about time people are realizing it!
