Hello, i started smoking pot at 18 in college. I never liked smoking during the day because i wanted to keep a clear head and conduct my day with full awareness. I smoked at night for social reasons with friends or to go out and do something, like to a bar or disco or concert. It was simply an enhanced sensory experience. I am not an addict of any kind where i need substances like drugs, alcohol or food to dull my life's experiences. So i have never agreed with any of the reported stories justifying NOT legalizing pot because it would lead to violence and drug addiction or any other social decline. We certainly have enough of that without pot. The great thing about pot is there is no hangover and for me i never had any addictive feelings before, during or after. If you are an addictive person, you will find something - and it is unfair to blame pot alone and not discuss other legal substances. I stopped smoking pot because it is just way way too expensive. When i was smoking, an ounce of good pot cost $30-50. I refuse to pay $300 for an ounce of pot, and actually i don't even know how much it costs today or what colorado is selling it for. the news stations have not reported that.
