    Bangladesh Elections

Opposition party BNP boycotted elections. Voter turnout was less than 30%. Violence has erupted in polling booths across the country. Ruling party Awami League's forced elections are not considered credible by most Bangladeshis. Vote rigging has been pervasive throughout polling stations. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's antics have transformed her image to that of a tyrannical dictator. Bangladesh has been under constant blockade for more than a month now. Street violence and police brutality have created a state of constant fear and made everyday life frustrating for all.
