    Saving the VA and Taxpayers

I am a disabled veteran. I spent over 6 and a half years in the "sandbox". After that time, it wasn't good. I had two heart attacks, was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, lost a family ( and good friends) along the way. The VA offered "help" in the form of up to 9 medications prescribed. I was a mess. Do you know that because of my use of herb, I no longer have nightmares, have lowered my blood pressure, eat a healthier diet, and am able to at best keep a seemingly peaceful life, am more loving and amicable to others, developed a deeper spirituality and getting better everyday.
The VAs over attempt to "medicate" the problems I had (or what they "deemed" was needed) associated, only compounded any issues ie. getting along in "normal society") I am educated and understand that our government is ( of many) slave to pharmaceutical companies), screw them.
I save the taxpayers money, have eliminated those multiple contraindications between the 9 medications, don't have to try and explain to a non combat veteran "head doc" my issues and am a kinder more peaceful soul..
I am still cognizant of certain medical issues but am more at peace knowing that I can grow one plant (without any help) that for once, isn't costing one cent to anyone else. I did my duty honorably and if a little smoke makes me a little happy, well by god I (and all veterans who have done what we have) if I want to have a little herb, than I think I am still doing my duty to my country, by not wanting to slap the snot out of politicians who have nothing more than to pad their pockets with lobbyists monies. Please don't get me started...( oh forget that, I'll just take a puff), I have a life to reconstruct.
