    A Glimpse at Plantronics.

    This article is an overview about both Plantronics and its products. Wearable technology is a current topic of conversation. My article is about the audio compatible forms of wearable technology, software, and apps , created by Plantronics. Wearable technology has only been mentioned in the news recently. However, Plantronics is a company that has been involved with wearable technology for over 40 years.
    Plantronics has been creating wearable communications technology since 1961. Plantronics created communications headsets used by the FAA of the USA. Plantronics created the communications devices for the Apollo Space Programme of the USA. Plantronics created the communications devices used by the American astronauts who had landed on the moon of planet Earth. In 1984, Plantronics created the official communications headset used during the 1984 Olympics Games of Los Angeles, USA. In 2004 at the CES Consumer Electronics show, Plantronics won award regarding design innovations for headset communication. In 2005, Plantronics wins an award in Mexico regarding highest quality manufacturing facility. During the rest of the year 2005, Plantronics also won the International Pacific Quality Award and the International Platinum Star Quality Award of Paris. In 2010, Plantronics won the International Forum (iF) Product Design Award for both the design of comfortable wearable technology and superior audio quality. Plantronics is still creating wearable technology during the contemporary era.
    Plantronics creates a diverse assortment of wearable technology. The BackBeat product line of Plantronics is related to the use of either earbuds or headsets which can be used to listen to both music and entertainment. The BackBeat product line of Plantronics is compatible with any of the following electronics: PC computers, Apple Mac computers, and phones which use Bluetooth. Plantronics has two different product lines of headsets related to playing video games. RIG and GAMECOM are the two separate product lines of video game compatible headsets created by Plantronics. Headsets for designed only for mobile communications are created by Plantronics. The mobile communications headsets created by Plantronics have many different styles and many different names. The mobile communications headsets created by Plantronics can be used either by Bluetooth or USB. The ".Audio" product line designed by Plantronics is compatible with both internet calls and VOIP while being a completely different production line from the mobile communications products. Plantronics also creates headsets designed for workers who work in industries that are involved in heavy use of communications. The work communication product line of Plantronics has products listed under many different names. It would be best to look at the Plantronics website if there is an interest in understanding the full list of headsets that are compatible within a communications related workplace. Plantronics also creates communications hardware too.

    Plantronics creates technology hardware that is used for communications. Plantronics creates and sells a variety of speakerphones and telephones. Plantronics also creates and sells audio processors. Plantronics also creates software and apps.

    Plantronics creates software and apps related to communications. Plantronics creates apps compatible with the following operating systems of mobile phones: Apple iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. Plantronics creates software compatible with the following types of computers: Apple Mac and computers which have the Windows Operating System.
