Ice crystal bubbles at -1 degrees in Oklahoma

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Livesayimage had heard cool things happen when you blow soap bubbles in freezing temperatures and wanted to try it out Monday morning. 'I walked around to the side of my house because there was some wind blowing off the lake and if you have too much wind, the bubbles will blow away.' He said he was quite a picture 'with the wand in one hand waving and then my camera in the other hand trying to shoot a picture of this bubble.'
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

If you were crazy enough to get up this morning and go outside at -1 degrees around Grand Lake near Grove, Oklahoma and then try and blow bubbles with one hand and autofocus your camera with the other. This is what you might get. The white, almost leaf like patterns in the bubble, are ice crystals beginning to form as the bubble floats up into the trees.
