    Panda spotted in Ohio!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     KSorens, a college student at home on winter break, says she and her dad set out to make a snowman Sunday Jan. 5 'but once we started rolling and stacking, we thought it looked more like a sitting man. Once we added the legs, my dad said he thought it looked more like a teddy bear. Then we realized that we had black food coloring, so the snowman became a panda.' The panda is about 5 feet tall.

We made this panda Sunday, 1/5/14, before it got too cold to go outside. He's now frozen in our front yard in the subzero temperatures. As we sprayed him this morning with more food coloring dye to darken his features, the dye froze in our spray bottles! I have a feeling Mr. Panda will be hanging around for a while!
