    Only buy healthy

I am a stepmom whose kids were born and raised on fast food. I just don't buy the things that are bad for them. I don't go down the candy aisle, I don't buy sodas, I don't buy ingredients for baked goods and I don't buy cereal, I don't buy salad dressing, I don't buy chips. Fresh ingredients only no cans no boxed ingredients. Fruits for breakfast, whole wheat bread and deli sliced meats and a salad for lunch, dinner is a protein a starch and a salad. The kids make our salad dressing themselves. In the end I believe people would save money if they bought healthy. Cereal is running $5 a box at least. A 12 pack of soda $3. Salad dressing another $5. Chips are the most ridiculous averaging $3-$5. The moral of the story is your family will eat healthy if you only buy healthy. When there is nothing left to eat they will be forced to eat healthy or starve. And if you don't eat what is made for your meal I guess you aren't that hungry to begin with.
