    Photography by Su-Zu Lee 李述儒

Holding green flags currently accepted by various groups of Taiwan's Independent Movement, young People in Taiwan are slowly being awakened by the nationwide campagn advocating the fact that Taiwan is not recognized as a sovereign state in the international arena. Perhaps young protesters are feeling the weight on their shoulders that they have to be the ones changing the fate of this country's future.

"The number of supporters of Taiwan's independence movement is absolutely increasing. Over a decade ago, there were only the elderly rallying against this regime in exile called Republic of China," a statement made by Ming-You Chang (張銘祐), the CEO of  Alliance of Referendum for Taiwan, an orgainzation that has had effective operations against the regime's apparent intention backed by treaties signed by Taiwan's ruling regime and China to work towards reunification.
