A very special celebration in Chiapa de Corzo, Mexico.

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter Gustavo0773 shares with CNN iReport images from the Fiesta Grande de Chiapa de Corzo (Chiapa de Corzo Big Party,) a popular festival in which men dress up as maids and walk around the city. "Among the men you will find gay guys, but the majority are married men with kids," Gustavo explains. The iReporter adds that a lot of turists travel to Chiapas to be part of the festivities, which only occur once a year.

photos and video from a very special celebration in Chiapa de Corzo, Mexico. Every January, festival-goers commemorate an 18th century legend in which Doña Maria de Angulo, a wealthy benefactor, gave food to those affected by a drought. She was inspired to give back to the community after local witch-doctors cured her son of a disease which prevented him from walking. The festival was recognized in 2011 by UNESCO as 'Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.'
