It is 7am in Havana and the sun is hiding behind the clouds still deciding if and when to show up, however there are a bevy of beauties getting ready to put on a show. These are the vintage cars that define Havana. Over the years, these cars have become a symbol of Havana just as the statue of liberty is to NY or the Effiel tower is to Paris. Apart from their dazzling looks, they serve a major function in transporting the locals from point to point in the city for a sum of 10 pesos (approx. 40c). The best of these are reserved for foreign tourists who can take a tour of Havana in these beauties.
