    When Is My Child Ready for a Smartphone?


    Children under the age of 14 should NOT be given a smartphone unless the parent is going to engage completely...and I'm not sure parents understand what that means. I've presenting to students, teachers, and parents on Internet Safety since 2003, and I've seen it all.... Just say no, believe me - you're better off.
