Lt. Kenny Landwehr, Wichita Kansas Police Department (retired)

Recently retired Wichita Police Lieutenant Kenny Landwehr, a tireless and self driven cop, who spoke for many homicide victim's that couldnt, passed away on Jan. 13th after a short battle with cancer.  Lt. Landwehr was placed in charge of the BTK serial killer task force after the killer resurfaced after no confirmed contact with him in almost 30 years. Lt. Landwehr was the absolute driving force behind the apprehension of the killer and was not only a credit to the Wichita Police Department....but also a credit to the human race. (A short article has recently been written in the local paper, The Wichita Eagle.)
