Business Marketing Tips from Customer Callers
Here are some local business marketing tips from my friends at Customer Callers today. They are a Charlotte based marketing company that focus on assisting local service industries in attaining more customers.
They stress the need for all local businesses to have a presence on Facebook to increase their local marketing exposure. One might not think that using Facebook would help a local plumbing or HVAC company in getting more clients, but it is certainly advantageous to do so.
It is a vehicle where a local service business can post photos of their recent work that they have performed and post some quick maintenance tips that would be useful for homeowners to know. By asking current clients to connect with them on Facebook and to share the posted photo(s) of the repair work or new product installations the service business has posted its Facebook fan page is an excellent way to increase the business's exposure!
If a business were to do that with just five clients a week and each of those clients had a Facebook following of just 100 friends, well you can do the math of how many new people to which the business's fan page would have been exposed.
People might be using social media channels to search for a service business when they need one, but is an excellent medium to create a personal experience about a business for when they will need one in the future. It is excellent word of mouth and referral marketing.
