The truth about authors is that they are actually made not born. But not without the delicate strings of nurture. The authorship roots of Ipere respects the talents of Mrs Dorothy Eberechi Ipere (The Queen Of Songs). The history of this musoc stronghold of Eastern Nigeria is more than 50 years old in the profession and has had a chequered experience with both the public and private sectors of the economy. Dorothy Ipere is a renowned music director, composer, singer and lecturer of music in Nigeria. Her works have been exacted in the roots of both traditional and church music in Igbo land and surrounding states.
It is no wonder then that she was able to build a chip out of the old block in her son Tochukwu Callistus Ipere, a four time published author with about 14 years of authorship experience. Tochukwu like her mother has won several awards in his genre of specialty, poetry. The pictures makes the titles real for both authors, mother and son and the goodness seek the fiftieth year of marriage for the mother and all the good things of life for the whole family.
