Dog Attack in Mandurah
A 9 year old boy has been attacked by 2 dogs at a home on Cooper Street in Mandurah.
Two females, aged 53 and 29-years, believed to be the Mother and Grandmother of the child stepped in to resuce the boy and sustained lacerations.
The boy was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital in a serious condition. The Mother and Grandmother of the boy were taken to Peel Health Campus.
The owner, who did not want to be named, said the three injured people were her relatives and were at the house minding her children while she was out.
The owners were not home at the time of the attack.
Police and Mandurah rangers attended the property and the dogs were removed and put down.
The Childrens Hospital has just said the boy is now in a Stable Condition.
