    Peaceful Protesters

I live about 100 feet away from Sukhumvit and yesterday, while sitting in my bedroom (15 floors up) with the doors closed, I could hear loud music and yelling over an intercom and whistles screaming every second. I walked downstairs to find that the protesters had started a march from their base camp at Asok and had moved directly into my neighborhood. I was actually planning on going out to run some necessary errands at the time, so decided I would still run my errands and catch a glimpse of the protests while I was out. Everywhere I needed to go, the march seem to follow me, so I ended up in the middle of it several times. Everybody was extremely friendly and nice and I never felt the least bit in danger. I have heard that there have been a few acts of violence, but there was no threat of it during the march. I snapped as many pictures as I could ( a lot of which were taken 2 and 3 stories high at a BTS station) while trying to be respectful of the protesters. I am trying to keep my distance as much as possible, because it is not my battle, but I still have to get to work and get food and live my life.
