    Hallmark Channel June in January

    Marilu Henner makes a difficult mother-in-law to be, premieres January 18th, 2014, 7pm ET/PT, 6C *** Three Stars

    By Gabrielle Pantera

HOLLYWOOD, CA, 2014/1/18 - In June in January June Fraser, (Brooke D’Orsay) is a newly engaged bride whose dream is the perfect June wedding, but she’s not going to get her perfect wedding due to Alex Blackwel (Wes Brown), her fiancé’s new job, a move and Diana Blackwell (Marilu Henner) her scheming future mother-in-law.

As a child June and her mother planned ever aspect of her wedding to be. But June’s mom Katheryn (Anne Marie DeLuis) passed away a few years earlier and won’t get to be able to help June plan and be at her wedding. Can June give up her dream for a June wedding to marry in January the man she loves?

Hallmark channel makes movies that can be watched by the whole family and this is no exception. June’s (D’Orsay) character is more wimp than hero. If she stood up to her future mother-in-law they would have come to an understanding sooner, but that would seriously cut the story short. If they had bonded sooner, and worked together, the ending would not feel so abrupt.

Executive produced by Tim Johnson and Jean Abounader. Produced by Oliver De Caigny. Directed by Mark Griffiths. Script by Abounader and J.B. White.
