    My two mothers

I have two mothers. One of them is the mother who gave birth to and raised me. The other is my host mother. I stayed at her house for only one month, but I have lots of memories of her.
I'm Japanese and went to the US to study, which was the first time for me to go abroad. It was also the first time to stay with people who are not my family. My host mother lives alone, and works from early in the morning. However, she always cooked me very delicious dishes. In Japan I rarely help my mother prepares meals, because I am not interested in cooking and my mother always works too quickly for me. However sometimes I helped cook in the US. Because my host mother told me how to do this, it was interesting for me to learn about American food.My host mother talked to me a lot, during this time and while driving. She told me many things about her life, the environment in America, her life style, and so on. I like listening to her stories.
I spent a wonderful time with her and I learned many things. I’m not good at speaking English, but she always tried to understand me. Someday, I would like to visit my host mother and show her how I have improved my English skill.
