    Some photos of the Cagayan River, Philippines, from the Ysalina Bridge, close to St. Augustine Cathedral and City Hall, taken at noon time on 20 January, 2014.

    In the distance, you can see the construction of the new J.R. Borja Bridge; usually, there is a small strip of land (that juts out to the middle column) visible above the level of the water - here, it's underwater. Also, the letters at the bottom of the "Be Honest" sign to the left of the riverbank are visible when the river is at normal levels.
