    BoardVitals.com Raises Seed Funding for Medical Specialty Education

     
    BoardVitals.com announced that it has raised $500k in seed funding to further expansion of their Medical Specialty Question Banks. The round was led by Rothenberg Ventures and Angel Investor Kurt Walters. Board Vitals already has significant traction with thousands of paying physicians using the platform. BoardVitals is part of the First Growth Venture Network and is a Blueprint Health company.

    “Providing quick and up to date board review material is essential to furthering medical education,” explains Daniel Lambert, chief executive officer of BoardVitals.com. “We are thrilled with the funding round that we just completed and we know that this product is improving physician performance on their boards.”

    BoardVitals.com is a site that offers 24-hour access to physician board review questions. The site offers a huge knowledge bank, with a database of experts who review the questions.

    BoardVitals.com questions focus on the content covered on the board exams and re-certification exams. Users can create customized practice tests and the platform provides detailed up-to-date applications for each answer. The platform offers advanced statistics and machine learning to suggest content individualized to the user. The site also offers a guarantee on the service.

    “We have built relationships with major publishers, including Wiley and Wolters Kluwer,” added Lambert. “We bring together the best content from publishers, research institutions, and individual physicians.”

    BoardVitals.com offers board review question banks for practicing physicians, residents, and medical students. It serves those working in the fields of psychiatry, pathology, emergency medical, neurology, pediatrics, cardiology, and family medicine, surgery, among others.
