    Pro Life March Dallas Texas

On January 18, Dallas area media outlets reported approximately 10,000 Catholic Pro-Life advocates walked from the Dallas Convention Center to the Earl Cabell Federal Building where 41 years ago the controversial Roe versus Wade court case was filed. After a Mass celebrated by Dallas Bishop Kevin Ferrell and numerous Dallas Catholic Diocesan clergy,Marchers carried signs and religious artifacts through the 4 block route to the federal building. This year more Pro-Lifers showed up to participate as the weather was nice. In years past, the weather has been icy, cold, or rainy. Pro Life Marchers ranged anywhere from young toddlers to seniors. The irony of the day was that Wendy Davis (D) Fort Worth, candidate for Governor and staunch Pro-Choice advocate was the Grand Marshal for the annual MLK parade just a few miles away. The Texas governor election is just 11 months away.
