    Penguin Nutrition in Antarctica

We stopped on Petermann Island during our February 2010 Antarctica cruise and walk. Penguins, of course, were a dominant theme of this adventure, and on this particular hike, we encountered the southernmost colony of Gentoo penguins on the planet. It was late in the season for chicks but many were still dependent on mothers for feeding. Looks like a nutritious snack. Hope your day is full of meals that are as delicious and nutritious!
