    Living with a rare disease?

2 Years Living with Synovial Sarcoma

I have been living with a rare form of cancer called a Synovial Sarcoma since Jan 2012. The disease was originally found in my back and has since metastisized to both of my lungs.  In the past 2 years I have endured 17 rounds of chemo, 33 doses of radiation and over 20 hours of surgery. I receive chemo every 3 weeks as part of a continuing treatment - there is NO end to it. I will be treated for as long as I can live. Yet, through it all, I have managed to continue living an amazing life.  I ski, I bike, I hike and most importnantly, I enjoy time with my family and friends.
