His favorite two photos of the set show opposite views of the city: the calm of Lafayette Square Park and the usual chaos of the D.C. lifestyle shown by the woman walking with an umbrella. Serious snowfall in the city is rare, but when it does happen, it paints a peaceful picture, he said. “It turns a fast-paced urban environment into a serene, peaceful thing of beauty. Perhaps these images will inspire people to brave the cold and venture out to see it for themselves next time.”
