I visited my hometown Mumbai in India after almost five years. A lot has changed. More construction, more traffic congestion, economic progress, poverty, lack of space, beautification; in short, sharp contrasts can be seen all over the city. On a late October morning, my father and I set out to capture a few shots of this beautiful city. The Bandra-Worli Sea Link, a flyover over the Arabian sea to ease growing traffic congestion, has been open for public transit for the past couple of years, after years of starts and stops, corruption, lack of funding and environmental concerns. To me, this Sea Link perfectly describes Mumbai and life in Mumbai in general.
