Hollywood: La Gran Noticia de Los 33 Mineros....??

In August of 2010, the San José Mine in Chile collapsed, trapping 33 men... 700m below ground.
Nothing was heard for 17 days & most people assumed they were dead.

At the time when rescued, great things were promised for the “Los 33” but the reality is very different... to date they haven't received any compensation from the mine owners.
In many cases, they are still struggling with their disturbing experience(s) of those days in 2010.

Most are still seeing a psychiatrist. Many are out of work or are scraping together a living... and now Hollywood comes knocking on their doors.

In a few months, a film crew will come to Chile to shoot a movie about the men. Starring Antonio Banderas, Juliette Binoche & Martin Sheen.
The buzz is on in Santiago: Extra-work ...

Three years after their ordeal, Chile's 33 miners are not celebrities or millionaires as many had predicted, however the miners have been promised a cut of the box office. Time will tell ...
